We’ve all watched the different award shows…the Academy Awards, the Grammys….the celebrities strolling down the red carpet, smiling, waving to fans, stopping to pose for photographers…and we have all thought, if only for a brief moment, how wonderful it would be to get that same kind of treatment…to have someone acknowledge our being and our worth….to have someone who genuinely wants to see all of our dreams and hopes come true.
I just read a wonderful book entitled, “The Celebrity Experience” written by Donna Cutting. Donna recounts different companies and entrepreneurs who put “customer service” first. These individuals go out of their way to make sure that the customer’s experience is always a good one. This is not always easy because differences in personalities come into play. But with perseverance and some ingenuity, we can strive to give all of our clients a Celebrity Experience.
I’ve always thought of myself as giving good customer service and listening to the needs and wants of my clients. But, after reading this book, I am going to step it up a degree! I have a new mantra:…Give every client a celebrity experience! People…listen up…if you want a Realtor who genuinely cares about your well-being, who listens, who doesn’t say, “This can’t be done” but responds by saying, “How do we accomplish this?”….a Realtor who uses a chuckle to relax the moment…a Realtor who can be compassionate, yet pull no punches…a Realtor who can deliver….I AM THAT REALTOR.
Don’t you think you deserve to be treated like a celebrity? I do….
